Stephanie Robb received her undergraduate degree in Fine and Performing Art (with a visual art concentration) from Simon Fraser University in 1985, and her graduate degree in Architecture from the University of British Columbia School of Architecture in 1989. Stephanie worked for several years on market and non-market housing and custom single-family residential design before forming a design partnership with Bill Pechet in 1995.
Stephanie brings to each project a breadth of creative imagination and knowledge. She is skilled in design, management and implementation, including liaising with municipal agencies, conducting public consultation and public speaking. Stephanie has taught as a sessional lecturer at the UBC School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, where she has often participated as a guest critic and thesis committee member.
Stephanie is particularly interested in the margins of kitsch and professional design which led to the precedent-setting renovation of the Lakewood Residence, a circa 1974 “Vancouver Special” house.
Stephanie Robb a registered architect and member of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia where she is currently participating on the Registration & Licensing Committee.
